iPhone 18 Pro/Max Case A customisable TPU phone case designed for the iPhone 18 Pro & Max About This Design I designed this phone case to allow for customisation directly within Bambu Studio. By importing your own SVG files as part modifiers, you can generate entirely unique backplate designs. By combining TPU with PLA, the case offers the best of both materials, allowing for more intricate patterns and colour combos. To ensure durability and prevent delamination, I modeled an internal structural weave that mechanically locks the TPU and PLA layers together, reinforcing the bond between the two plastics. Key Features Multi-Material Design: Combines TPU 95a with PLA for the ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity. Customisable: Easily import your own SVG patterns as modifiers in Bambu Studio or your preferred slicer to personalise the case. Woven Layer Adhesion: Features a custom internal geometry that mechanically weaves the TPU and PLA together Instructions Wait for the build plate to fully cool down, then remove by flexing the build plate until it pops off, avoid using a scraper, if it's stuck to the build plate put it in the freezer for few minutes then it will just fall off. Remove the support material from the speaker and USB cutouts. The Camera bump prints separately and is fitted from inside the case, ensure the small retaining lip on the camera bump clears the camera hole in the case to lock it in place. There are two types, one covers the camera module and is in two pieces, fit the cover once the phone is in, it should snap into place. Customisation To customise your case, load your SVG patterns into Bambu Studio as a modifier to apply to the backplate. Keep your minimum line thickness constraints in mind when sizing your SVGs to ensure the slicer creates clean, continuous paths for the contrasting filament. For those wishing to add magsafe functionality the model includes a magsafe ring modifier, simply change Type to Negative Part as shown, there is also one for a strap. Print Settings & Recommendations To get the best results, I recommend the following parameters: Material: Bambu TPU 95a & PLA Basic Layer Height: 0.2mm for standard, 0.1mm for finer details Infill: 15% Wall Loops: 2 Supports: Use PLA or a dedicated support filament for the support interface Crucial Note: Ensure that your TPU is fully dried before printing to prevent delamination and stringing and ensure clean multi-material transitions.
