Whether your elf is getting ready for a big night at the North Pole, opening their very own beauty salon or just trying to tame some serious hat hair, this little set has them covered. Both accessories are decorative miniatures and do not contain electrical or heating components. 🖨️ Printing Information I've included two different printing options so you can enjoy this design whether you've got an AMS-equipped printer or prefer straightforward single-colour printing. Both versions have been designed with printability and assembly in mind. ⭐ Option 1 – AMS Optimised (Recommended) This is my preferred version! The AMS print plates have been carefully arranged to produce the multicolour components with minimal unnecessary colour changes. Rather than simply printing everything as one large multicolour object, I've kept selected parts separate to improve printing efficiency. Benefits: Optimised for AMS printing. Minimal unnecessary filament colour changes. Separate components where beneficial for efficiency. Contrasting colours for added realism. Less post-print assembly than the non-AMS version. Great-looking finished accessories. Included plates: Dryer Body Dryer Handle & Straightener Plates Straightener ✅ Option 2 – Non-AMS / Single-Colour Printing No AMS? No worries! I've also included separate plates for anyone wanting to print the kit without an automatic filament-changing system. The components can be printed individually in your preferred colours and assembled afterwards. Benefits: No AMS required. Print each component in whichever colour you prefer. Compatible with standard single-filament FDM printing. Mix and match colours using separate prints. Included plates: Non-AMS Dryer Body Non-AMS Dryer Nozzle & Vent The non-AMS version requires a little more gluing and assembly, but produces the same style of miniature accessories. A bit more assembly, a lot less filament swapping! 🤣 🔧 Assembly After printing: Carefully remove the components from the build plate. Remove any supports or loose filament. For the dryer, fit the handle, nozzle and other separate components as applicable to your chosen profile. Assemble any separately printed straightener components. Use a small amount of suitable adhesive where required. Allow any glued components to set before handling. And that's it! Your elf is officially ready for a salon appointment. 🎨 Colour Ideas I've printed my set in a shiny metallic purple with contrasting grey components, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. But there's no reason your elf can't have their own signature salon colours!
