Descripción
The Long Reach Screw Scissors clean and grease your 3D printer's Z lead screws without getting your fingers inside the printer. Wrap a square of paper towel round the screw, close the long jaws on it, and move Z from the screen. The jaws have the screw's own thread shape cut into them, so the scissors ride along the screw as it turns and wipe its full length. The slim jaw end reaches the rear Z screw in its slot at the back, and the whole tool prints in one piece with the pivot printed in place. Features: Long Reach: About 196 mm from the finger loops to the jaws, so your hand stays outside the printer. Slim Jaw End: Only 16.4 mm across when shut, to reach into the slot round the rear Z screw. Thread-Shaped Jaws: Two spots in the jaws are shaped like the screw's thread, so the tool rides along with the screw while Z moves. Two Marked Spots: The tip spot is marked "P1 X1 H2" for the 8 mm four-start screws on those Bambu Lab printers. The spot behind it is marked "T8x2" for 8 mm single-start screws with a 2 mm pitch. Just Paper Towel: No strips to cut or stuff into slots. Wrap a square of towel round the screw and close the jaws on it. Scissor Handles: A thumb loop and a long finger loop, shaped like tailor's shears, with a light squeeze to hold. Print-in-Place Pivot: Both arms print together, already joined. No bolts, no assembly and nothing to fall off. Steady Jaws: A tongue on one jaw slides into a groove in the other, so the jaws don't twist when they close. Printing No supports needed 0.2 mm layer height, 0.4 mm nozzle. PLA, with standard settings (2 walls, 15% grid infill). The number at the start of each file name is how many to print. It prints flat, slightly open, laid across the diagonal of the bed. It needs a 256 x 256 mm bed (Bambu Lab X1 or P1 series, or larger). About 2 h 2 min. You will also need Paper towel (kitchen roll) Lead screw grease, for greasing after cleaning (use grease, not WD-40) Parts 1 x Long Reach Screw Scissors Using it After printing, open and shut the scissors fully a few times. Hold a square of paper towel round the lead screw. Close the jaws on the towel, with the screw in the spot that matches your printer: "P1 X1 H2" at the tip, or "T8x2" behind it. For the rear screw, slide the jaw end into the slot shut, then open it about 12 mm at the thumb loop and close it round the screw. Hold the loops lightly and move Z up and down from the printer's screen. The scissors ride along the thread and wipe the screw. Use a dry towel to clean, then a fresh towel with a little grease to lubricate. Size 285 x 142 x 16 mm when shut.
