Mystic Owl Lantern

Mystic Owl Lantern – Inspired by Nature Nature is the best designer, and this owl is my interpretation of its beauty. The Mystic Owl Lantern combines the natural anatomy of an owl with organic, leaf-inspired feather patterns. The intricate openings follow the shape of the owl's body and wings, creating a structure inspired by the patterns and forms found in nature. The design is not only decorative but also functional. Just like light passes through leaves in a forest, the warm LED light shines through the organic openings, creating beautiful patterns of light and shadow. This project combines biomimicry, nature-inspired design, and 3D printing to turn a majestic bird into a unique decorative lantern.   Printing & Lighting The print profile includes the owl with an added negative part that creates a hole perfectly sized for the Bambu LED Tea Light when sliced. You can freely scale the owl and adjust the size of the hole to suit your needs or fit a different light source. The second plate in the print profile contains a small test print that allows you to check whether your light source fits before printing the entire owl.
