Descripción
Visor worn by the iconic X-Men character Cyclops. I modeled this completely from scratch, but uploaded as a remix because the looks were heavily inspired by BAGMAN_collectibles' Cyclop's visor. I love his model, but it didn't fit the shape of my head and I also had another feature I wanted to add. The main difference I made is that the ear pieces are below eye level and oriented to better align with the average human head. You will have to scale the visor to your head. Use the normal print profile (not the special) to determine what scale you need to print the visor at. I would recommend somewhere around 108% for an average adult male head. For the red lens, I just bought a cheap red gel light filter off of Amazon. I have uploaded two print profiles. There is a generic no AMS print profile and a special print profile, which adds a slot for strips of red transparent film to slide into. Normal - Does not require an AMS. Does not include a slot for the red lens, so it will have to be glued on. Special - This print profile has custom made supports for a large part of the model. Includes a slot for the red lens (as shown in the model pictures), eliminating the need for glue. The red gel light filters will need to be cut to fit the slot depending on what scale it was printed at. Designed to fit 2-3 pieces of of the red filter for more realistic color. This profile requires either an AMS or a printer with multiple tool heads, as it uses a seperate material for the custom support's interface layers. If you use an AMS, the main filament NEEDS to be PETG and the interface layers' filament NEEDS to be PLA. Do NOT use PLA as the main filament with PETG as interface layers! If you use a printer with multiple nozzles/toolheads, you can print in whatever filaments you want, as long as the main filament is different than the interface layer filament. I recommend that both materials be printed in similar colors. For those that don't know, the interface layers are the topmost layers of the supports. So if you plan on printing the special print profile, the custom supports will be printed with the main filament until the last few layers to reduce waste. If you do not understand how to print the special print profile, please feel free to comment or direct message me for more instruction! I highly recommend recommend this print profile if you have the requirements! Note: Please ensure that filament is dry and print bed is properly cleaned before printing for best results! Enjoy!!!
