Descripción
A big, sturdy wall hook for cables, hoses, extension cords, straps, jackets, bags and tools. The angled strut carries the load into the wall, and the honeycomb core keeps the bracket stiff while saving plastic. The inside of the hook is a smooth R12 curve, so cables and straps rest in a gentle U instead of a sharp bend. The raised front lip keeps everything in place. FEATURES: • Size: 90 mm high, 60 mm deep, 20 mm wide • 50 mm opening between wall plate and lip • 5 mm solid frame around the honeycomb • Two countersunk holes for 4 mm screws, so the screw heads sit flush • 73.5 mm between the holes • The lower screw sits in its own tab, so a screwdriver can reach it directly • Rounded edges all around PRINT SETTINGS: • Profile: 0.20 mm Strength • Orientation: lay the hook on its side, so the profile is flat on the plate. The layers then follow the shape of the hook, which is by far the strongest direction. • Walls: 5 • Infill: 25% gyroid (with 5 walls the hook is almost solid anyway) • Top/bottom layers: 5 or more • Supports: none • Brim: not needed, but recommended • Material: PETG recommended. PLA: fine for light loads indoors, but bends slowly under constant heavy load. ASA: best for garages, sheds and outdoor use (needs an enclosed printer). • Tip: use glue stick on smooth PEI with PETG MOUNTING: You need two 4 mm countersunk wood screws, plus wall plugs that suit your wall. 1. Mark and drill the two holes, 73.5 mm apart. 2. Fasten the top screw first. 3. Fasten the lower screw. Don't overtighten – snug is enough. In most walls the wall plug is the weak point, not the hook. Use good plugs for heavy loads. Leave a comment or post a make if you print it. Feedback is welcome.
