Scream Cordless Phone – Halloween Cosplay

A retro cordless phone prop inspired by Scream. I originally made this model as an accessory for my son’s Halloween costume. I couldn’t find a good free model, so I created one with the help of ChatGPT. Designed for Halloween costumes, cosplay and display, the curved handset features a raised earpiece and mouthpiece, a recessed central section, a decorative keypad and a removable screw-in antenna. Three printable parts A hollow front housing with integrated buttons, speaker details and a threaded antenna socket. A slightly rounded hollow back cover with a locating lip to help align the parts for gluing. A separate antenna with a rounded tip and a coarse screw thread. The main body measures approximately 175 × 48 × 31 mm. Overall length with the antenna installed is approximately 214 mm. Printing and assembly Both housing halves need internal supports when printed with their open sides facing the build plate. Adjust the support settings to suit your printer and preferences. I ended up with more supports than necessary, and they were difficult to remove—but it all worked out, and we were both very happy with the result! After printing, remove the supports and clean up the mating edges. Test-fit the back cover and screw in the antenna before gluing the housing halves together. My son also decided to add a little paint to make it his own!
