Type-59 | 1:72 PRO Series | Workable Tracks

  ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE PRINTING! IMPORTANT: This model is recommended for experienced 3D printing enthusiasts who have patience and are comfortable working with very small, delicate parts. This is NOT a beginner-friendly model! The 1:72 PRO Series is significantly more challenging to print and assemble than my regular 1:72 models, especially because of its tiny individual workable track links. If you're new to 3D printing or prefer quick and easy assembly, I strongly recommend starting with my regular 1:72 models instead. Please read the information below before printing!    🔥 Another Legend Joins the 1:72 PRO Series! Hey everyone! 😁 After introducing the T-90S, I'm excited to bring another classic tank to my 1:72 PRO collection! Meet the Type-59 / T-54B! 🔥 I've always loved the iconic design of the T-54 tank family. Its rounded turret, low profile, and classic appearance make it one of the most recognizable tank designs in history. And now, I wanted to give this legendary design something special... Workable tracks at 1:72 scale! ⛓️ As you probably know, developing movable tracks at such a tiny scale is one of the biggest challenges I've taken on. But that's exactly what makes the PRO Series so exciting to me! My goal is to bring more detail, functionality, and enjoyment to these little tanks. Please remember that this is still an experimental series. Some imperfections may occur, and I'll continue improving the designs based on your feedback. PRO means more detail, more precision, and definitely more patience!    🖨️ Printing Recommendations This model has been optimized for FDM printing, but dimensional accuracy is extremely important. Recommended: Well-calibrated CoreXY printers, such as the Bambu Lab P1S, X1 Series, or H2D. These are my preferred machines for achieving consistent results with tiny parts and tight tolerances.   A1 / A1 Mini Users: I don't recommend these printers for this particular project, especially the workable tracks. However, if you still want to try, please be prepared to print small batches, test the fit of the parts, and spend extra time adjusting your results.   ⛓️ Workable Tracks – Please Read Carefully! The tracks are the most challenging part of this model. Each tiny link must connect correctly while remaining movable. Even a small dimensional difference can cause assembly problems. My recommendations: Use a well-calibrated CoreXY printer whenever possible. If using an A1 or A1 Mini, try printing individual links using Print by Object where appropriate. Print only a few links first and test how they connect. Make sure the links move freely without being too tight or too loose. Once you're satisfied with the results, continue printing the remaining links. Please don't print the entire track set before testing!  Patience is the key to getting workable tracks at such a small scale!   🔧 Assembly & Painting Some glue is required during assembly. However, be careful not to glue the movable track joints together! I recommend checking the fit of all parts before applying glue. Some details and decals on my finished models are painted or added manually. Feel free to customize your Type-59 / T-54A with your favorite colors, markings, and weathering effects!   🚀 Should I Continue the 1:72 PRO Series? I'd really love to hear your thoughts! Developing workable tracks at 1:72 scale requires much more time, experimentation, and patience than my regular models.
