Descripción
Bring a little fire to your 2027 celebrations! 🔥 Meet Fire Goat 2027 — a decorative Chinese zodiac sculpture with sweeping golden horns, flowing flame details, and a matching display pedestal with “2027” on both sides. I created this model to combine the friendly character of a goat with a fiery fantasy style. Sculpted flames flow across its chest, back, and legs, continuing into the raised tail and around the base. The red, gold, and black colour scheme gives the finished piece a bold, festive appearance. Display it on your desk or shelf, make it part of your Lunar New Year decorations, or print it as a gift for someone who loves goats, fantasy creatures, or the Chinese zodiac. 🐐 Celebrating the Year of the Fire Goat Chinese Lunar New Year begins on 6 February 2027, welcoming the Year of the Fire Goat. This zodiac animal is also known as the Sheep or Ram. The flame-inspired sculpting is my interpretation of the year’s Fire element. 📏 Assembled dimensions Height: 185 mm / 18.5 cm Width: 145 mm / 14.5 cm Depth: 100 mm / 10 cm These dimensions refer to the complete assembled model, including the base. Printing base is not required if you like only the goat. Just exclude main base when printing black plate and exclude flames accent when printing red plate. 🎨 Three colours, three plates — no AMS required The coloured components are printed separately and assembled afterwards. Each plate uses a single colour, so this project can be printed without an AMS. PlateColourIncluded parts1RedMain goat body and the flame accent for the base2BlackMain display base and 2 eyes3Silk Gold2 horns, 4 hooves, and individual digits forming “2027” on both sides of the baseThe year text consists of two complete sets of separate numerals, one set for each side. Recreate the photographed colour combination or choose your own colours to suit your display. ⚙️ Object-specific settings and resizing The supplied project uses individual scale values and print settings tailored to different objects. Keep these supplied settings when printing at the original size. If you resize the model, apply the same relative scale factor to every part on all three plates. Scale each part uniformly in all three axes, starting from its supplied size. For example, to make the complete model 20% larger, multiply every part’s existing size by 1.20. Some objects may already have different scale values. Do not simply overwrite every object with the same absolute scale percentage if their starting values differ. Preserve the relative sizes of all components so they continue to fit together. Remember to include the eyes, horns, hooves, base flame accent, and every numeral when resizing. 🧩 Identifying the horns and eyes All left/right references are from the goat’s own perspective. Left horn: A small cutout at the base of the horn helps identify it. Right eye: In the supplied black-plate layout, the goat’s right eye is positioned closer to the main base model. Both eyes are printed on the black plate alongside the base. Note which eye is which before removing the parts or rearranging the plate layout. 🔧 Assembly Glue is required for a secure finished assembly. However, the parts can be dry-fitted, and the complete model can stand without glue, allowing you to check the fit and positioning first. Print the parts from all three plates and clean them up as needed. Identify the left horn and right eye using the clues above. Test-fit the components and check their alignment before applying glue. Assemble the goat and its decorative base, placing a complete “2027” on each side. Secure the components with glue once you are happy with the fit and positioning. Handle the horn tips, beard, and flame tips carefully during cleanup and assembly. Share your Fire Goat! I’d love to see your finished print and the colours you choose — please share a photo of your make! If you enjoy the model, a like or boost is always appreciated and helps support my future designs.
