Boost MeIf you enjoy this model, please consider giving it a Boost – it helps me out a lot and keeps new designs coming. Thank you!A cheerful snowman with a top hat, carrot nose and red scarf, that you can fill with candy! Print it flat, heat it and shape it in the molds. Hang it on the Christmas tree, put it on the table or give it away as a small Christmas gift. Size: 44 × 79 × 36 mm (without the hanging loop). The first model in my new Christmas collection, more are on the way. Also see my Halloween series: Thermoformed Pumpkin, Thermoformed Boo Ghost, Thermoformed Black Cat, Thermoformed Bat, Thermoformed Cute Skull, Thermoformed Creepy Eyeball, Thermoformed Black Widow Spider, Thermoformed Mummy and Thermoformed Candy Corn. What's included Plate 1 – Molds (print once): bottom mold and top mold (plug). Plate 2 – Snowman, plain white (1 color): two flat nets, nut with hanging loop and clip – no AMS needed. Plate 3 – Snowman with hat, scarf and carrot nose (4 colors, AMS): black top hat with a red hat band, coal eyes, coal smile and buttons, orange carrot nose, red scarf and rosy cheeks on the front – hat and scarf on the back. Print info Ready-to-print 3MF with all settings included – works on any printer (0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers). Material: PLA. Molds in any color (I use black). Snowman in white, with black, orange and red for the details. Molds: approx. 54 g, 1 h 19 min. Plain snowman: approx. 7 g, 26 min. Snowman with details: approx. 8 g, 32 min. (Print times vary by printer.) The nets are printed as an open gyroid mesh: 0 top and 0 bottom layers, 2 walls, 30 % gyroid infill. The hat, face, scarf and buttons are printed on top of the net (0 walls, 70 % infill). How to make it Print the molds once. (I use PLA and it works great) Print a set of nets, the nut and the clip (plate 2 or plate 3). Place a flat net in the bottom mold with the raised rim facing down into the groove. Heat the net with a hair dryer for about 8–10 seconds until it is soft. (Be quick) Press the top mold down firmly and hold it until the net has cooled. Remove the formed half. Repeat with the second net, so you have a front and a back. Fill with candy, put the two halves together with the flat sides facing each other, and screw the nut onto the stem on top of the hat. Push the clip over the strip at the bottom to lock the halves together. Hang it on the tree or hand it out! Tips Small chocolates and wrapped candies fit perfectly – a great little advent or table gift. One set of molds is enough for a whole family of snowmen. No AMS? Print plate 2 in white – it still looks lovely as a snowy ornament.
