This new model builds on the success of my   very popular Dental Tooth & Gum Demonstration Model https://makerworld.com/en/models/3096367-dental-tooth-gum-demonstration-model#profileId-3489623,  which has received a fantastic response from the community. This time, I've taken the concept a step further by creating a dental implant demonstration model, designed to help dentists explain implant treatments and procedures to their patients.   The model represents a cross-section of a tooth implant and the surrounding gum, making it easier to visualise how an implant fits into the jaw and how the different components work together. It's designed to make dental explanations more visual, engaging and easier for patients to understand. As with the original design, this project was developed in collaboration with a practicing dentist, combining practical clinical use with a realistic and visually appealing design. I would recommend to glue the screw once you've painted the gum's bone as even thought stays in place, makes more sense that stays in there after painting.   The model features separate components to help demonstrate the different parts of the implant, I didn't create the thread that are usually there on the small screw and the abudment as it'll make for a long time assembly when need to be shown to a client, this way it's very quick to put it together and break it apart. The display stand was designed in Fusion 360, while the organic elements were sculpted in Nomad Sculpt to achieve a realistic appearance.   The stand includes a hidden cavity that can be filled with weights, such as old screws, nuts or other metal pieces then it needs to be glued to the gum. This gives the model excellent stability and makes it suitable for demonstrations in dental practices, consultation rooms and educational settings. For the best visual result, I recommend printing the parts in white filament and painting them using an airbrush and fine brushes. This allows you to add realistic colours and subtle shading for a more professional finish. The stand looks particularly beautiful printed in Wood PLA and includes a small personalised nameplate at the front. Using Bambu Studio's text options, you can add a dentist's name, clinic name or logo, making it an excellent display piece for a dental practice. This model is intended as a visual aid for dental education and patient communication, helping explain the basic structure of a dental implant rather than serving as a clinical or surgical guide.
