In July of 1947, something fell from the skies over Roswell, New Mexico. The military called it a weather balloon. Witnesses told a different story. But what if the truth was far more disturbing than anyone imagined? Just two years after humanity unleashed the power of the atomic bomb, an extraterrestrial civilization had taken notice. Earth had become a planet worth watching — not because of our intelligence, but because of our newfound ability to destroy ourselves. Sent on a classified mission from a world beyond our own, these mysterious Grey beings were tasked with monitoring Earth's nuclear weapons programs. Their assignment was simple: Observe the humans. Document their experiments. Determine whether this primitive civilization had become a threat to itself — or to others. But somewhere over the New Mexico desert, something went terribly wrong. If they came here in 1947 to monitor our nuclear weapons, and we've continued building them ever since... What makes us think they ever stopped watching?
