BACKGAMMON - Bookcase Edition BACKGAMMON - Bookcase Edition is a game for two players, played on a board consisting of twenty-four narrow triangles called points. The object of the game is to move all your checkers into your own home board and then bear them off. The first player to bear off all of their checkers wins the game. GAME COMPONENTS The BACKGAMMON - Bookcase Edition set includes:   -BACKGAMMON Game Board (with storage areas)   -15 Black and 15 White checker player pieces   -2 Black and 2 White Die Set   -1 Doubling Cube   -Bookcase Edition Box BOOKCASE EDITION BOX The BACKGAMMON - Bookcase Edition set also includes a Bookcase Edition Box with a slide top. This bookcase edition box can be stored on a shelf with your other matching bookcase edition games. The box includes a storage area for the backgammon game board and the game board includes storage for all the player pieces. INFORMATION & ASSEMBLY All parts were printed with PLA filament, matt or flat colored PLA filaments work best for bookcase edition games. I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued, for example, the book spine is glued to the square cornered side of the bookcase box. Also, the dice inserts are glued into the dice bases. To store the game, place the dice and player checkers into the board's storage areas. Then place the Board inside the box and slide on the box lid. A small drop of printer oil on the edges of the box lid will help with the slide into the box top. IMPORTANT NOTE: I've turned off the prime tower in order to upload the model but turning it on (if it will fit on your plate) will help the quality of your prints.
