Descripción
Today I present you to the biggest battleship I have build so far. The USS Missouri is one of americas most famous Battleships, which has fought from WW2 to the Korea War all the way up to Operation Desert Storm. She hostet the japanese delegation during the signature of Japans capitulation in 1945 and is a remarkable musseum ship in Hawaii today. The model itself is at 1:350 scale which puts her at a lengh of 77 cm or abt 30 inches. She consists of multiple parts which makes her a small model kit which is intended for display purposes. The model includes both waterline and full hull versions, allowing you to choose between a classic display stand or a waterline presentation. The ship has been optimized for FDM printing while preserving the characteristic lines, superstructure and main battery of the original ship. Boost MeHey all, I would really appreciate if you boost my model(s). It really motivates me to make more models. Especially since this one has been very much work I´ve got some vessels still in line to come :)I know I said I wanted to build Yamato, but the superstructure and especially this antenna thing are a issue I still have to work out Model is not tested to float! Important for printing: Hull can be printed with 0.2mm standard profile. The Superstructure, 5 inch guns and AA guns should be printed with max. 0.16mm layer height and with detection of thin walls enabled. Otherwise not all details can be printed Follow instructions on Buildplate names: There are PDF Instructions for the assembly. Warning: The first hull part was automatically repaired which removed the hole for the connector. Make sure the negative part is in place or remove the first connector.
