No pulse.   V8 Death Machine brings together a grinning skull and the unmistakable look of a blown V8: a triple-opening intake, ribbed engine details, sweeping exhaust headers, exposed bolts and a chain running around the jaw.   I wanted something that hits hard from across the room, then rewards a closer look.
