Enter your family names, adjust the colors, dimensions, and other options. Generate your personalized model. Download the 3MF file and open it in Bambu Studio to print. No OpenSCAD knowledge or additional software is required! Everything can be customized directly through MakerWorld. Optimized Supports You don't need to enable automatic supports in Bambu Studio! The generator includes its own optional, optimized supports for letters that may be difficult to print. Simply enable Add Letter Supports in the MakerWorld Customizer. These supports are generated only for the selected letters, reducing unnecessary material usage and making removal easier. You can also adjust their thickness, spacing, and contact gap to suit your printer and layer height. Leave Bambu Studio supports disabled when using the built-in supports. Main Customization Options These are the most important settings to create your own Christmas tree. 1. Family Names Enter your names in the Names field, using an asterisk (*) to separate them. For example: DAVID*ABRIL*ANA*LAURA Names appear from top to bottom, following the order you enter them. The generator supports up to 12 names, including letters, numbers, spaces, and &. Lowercase letters become uppercase, and common accented letters are converted to their unaccented equivalents. 2. Tree Size and Shape Base Diameter controls the width of the tree at its bottom, from 50 to 200 mm. Tree Angle controls its overall shape: Smaller angles create taller, slimmer trees. Larger angles create shorter, wider-looking trees. The height is calculated automatically based on these settings. 3. Decorative Pattern Choose between two styles to fill the empty spaces around the names. Stars: Decorative five-pointed stars distributed along the spiral. Zigzag: A continuous festive zigzag pattern connecting the spiral sections. Both options also decorate the tapered areas near the base and the top. 4. Colors Personalize the tree with four independently configurable colors. Foliage Color: The spiral structure and decorative pattern. Odd Name Color: The first name and every other name from the top. Even Name Color: The second name and every other name from the top. Star Color: The Christmas star at the top. Alternating name colors creates an especially attractive multicolor result. 5. Christmas Star Enable or disable the star at the top of the tree. Its width and thickness can also be customized. 6. Optional LED Candle Holder Enable the removable holder to place an LED tealight inside the tree and create a beautiful illuminated Christmas decoration. The holder is printed separately and slides into the bottom of the tree using two dovetail connections. You can adjust its diameter to fit your LED candle. Important: Use LED candles only. Never use real flames or candles that produce significant heat.   Detailed Customization Reference The following options provide additional control over the final design. Quality Segments Per Turn (segmentsPerTurn): Controls the smoothness of the spiral, from 48 to 180 segments per revolution. Higher values produce smoother curves but may increase generation and slicing time.
