Scary Spice – Step-Sitting Alien Halloween Display Meet Scary Spice — the Alien Scout Team’s idea of a Halloween welcome committee. 👽🎃 Like The Thinker and The Greeter, Scary Spice is part of my smaller Step Sitter series, designed specifically to sit naturally on front steps, porches, ledges, or anywhere else the aliens can get a little closer to the humans. The Greeter waves. The Thinker quietly studies everyone. Scary Spice apparently decided to handle things a little differently. With both hands up, fingers spread, and that slightly-too-happy alien expression, he looks like he’s waiting for the perfect moment to give the trick-or-treaters an extraterrestrial BOO! 👽 A Step Sitter With a Little More Attitude Scary Spice keeps the same smaller Step Sitter format as The Thinker and The Greeter rather than the larger life-size Alien Scout Team scale. That makes him easier to fit naturally on standard front steps while still being large enough to make an impression when people come walking toward the door. His wide seated stance keeps him planted on the step while the raised hands give the whole pose a lot of personality. He isn’t exactly terrifying... …but he’s definitely trying. 👽 🎃 Made for Halloween This one was designed specifically with Halloween in mind. Sit Scary Spice on the front stairs and let him wait for unsuspecting trick-or-treaters. He works great: Sitting on front steps Beside the front door Among pumpkins and Halloween decorations Along a walkway Beside The Thinker or The Greeter With the larger Alien Scout Team in the yard Anywhere someone might not notice him until they get a little too close The raised hands make him especially fun on stairs because it looks like he’s about to jump up and scare whoever is approaching. Thankfully, he seems a little too comfortable sitting there to actually bother. 🖨️ A Smaller, Easier Alien Scout Team Build The Step Sitter series was created as an alternative to the larger life-size Alien Scout Team models. You still get a substantial display piece, but in a smaller format that’s easier to print, assemble, move around, and find a place for on the porch. Scary Spice is also a surprisingly easy print, using less than one roll of filament for the complete build. Like the other Step Sitters, the model is divided into printable sections so it can be produced on a standard-size 3D printer and assembled afterward. Print the pieces, put him together, find him a step... …and wait for someone to notice him. 🔩 Easy Assembly The model is designed to assemble in sections just like the other larger Alien Scout Team builds. If you're already familiar with The Thinker or The Greeter, Scary Spice follows the same general idea: a large character without requiring a large-format printer. 🛸 Part of the Alien Scout Team Every member of the Alien Scout Team seems to have found their own job. Scout points out the trouble. Lurker hides in the shadows. Jimmy takes selfies. Tourist takes vacation photos. Distractor keeps Bigfoot conspiracy theories alive. Thinker studies the humans. Greeter waves hello. And Scary Spice?
