Water Cycle Kit Card – Colour & Build

A little water cycle scene made from two flat kit cards. Build the mountain, add the cloud and rain, and follow the river down to the sea.   The colour in the photos was added with markers. I’d colour the pieces while they’re still in the cards,it’s much easier to reach the small details. Leave the tabs and slots plain, let everything dry, then put it together. You can use paint instead, or leave it white.   The four word tiles lift out, so you can mix them up and work out where evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection belong. There’s also a droplet pointer for following the water around the model and talking through what happens along the way.   I’ve included a PDF with photos of the assembly steps, colour suggestions and a short matching activity.   Prints in PLA on two separate plates, with supports off.
