Boost Me🎅 Thanks for printing Rooftop! If Santa made your December countdown a little more magical, a Boost 🚀 helps me keep designing new holiday models. 📸 Share your print in the comments, I'd love to see it!🎅 Santa's way down the chimney, one gift a day Rooftop is a 24-day advent calendar. On 1 December Santa peeks over the top of a brick chimney, and every numbered gift you pull out lets him drop one step lower. On 24 December he lands in the glowing fireplace, just in time for Christmas. ✨ Why you'll love it 👀 A countdown you can see – pull today's gift and Santa drops 6 mm down the chimney; watch him through the window in the bricks. 🎁 24 numbered gifts – red boxes with a white lid, bow and number: odd days on the left, even days on the right. 🎅 Round 3D Santa – a chubby printed Santa with a big beard, black eyes, white cuffs and a pompom hat. 🔥 A cosy fireplace – stone walls, a wooden mantel and floor, a garland with berries, two stockings on pegs, bark logs and red flames that glow with a 38 mm LED tealight. 🏛️ A balcony on the mantel – a white balustrade with acorn finials and little striped parcels around the chimney. 🧱 One piece, no glue – the whole calendar prints upright in one piece; every colour is a whole-layer band, so the brick courses wrap all the way round. 🔁 Every year again – push the gifts back in and Santa is ready for next Christmas. 🎄 How it works The 24 gifts are sticks that slide through slots in the chimney: 1 at the top, 24 at the bottom. Santa stands on the highest gift. Pull today's gift and he drops onto the next one, 6 mm lower. On 24 December the last gift comes out and Santa drops through the open chimney into the fireplace. 📏 Size 108 × 84 mm footprint, 247 mm tall; Santa is 45 mm tall. Plate 1 is one 247 mm tall piece: it needs a printer with at least 250 mm build height (P1S, X1, P1P, A1). 🖨️ Printing 📋 One profile, 2 named plates – Fireplace, Chimney and Roof · Gifts, Santa and Stockings. 🎨 Colours as pictured – Bambu PLA Basic White, Brown (bricks), Cocoa Brown, Dark Green, Red, Black and Beige. 4 colours per plate, so one AMS is enough. ♻️ Low purge – plate 1 only changes colour between layers, in bands. ✅ No supports, no glue – the parts slot together. ⚙️ Settings – 0.20 mm layers · 2 walls · 15% infill · textured PEI plate. ⏱️ Print time – about 17 h for the whole calendar on a P1S (489 g of PLA, purge included). 🕯️ Optional – a 38 mm battery LED tealight for the fire. 💡 Tips Odd days go on the left, even days on the right. Let plate 1 cool on the build plate before you take it off. Next year: lift Santa out through the arch, push the gifts back in and lower him in from the top. Battery LED tealights only, never a real candle. The illustrated assembly guide (PDF) is in the Documentation section. 📜 License Standard Digital File License: print Rooftop for yourself as often as you like. Please don't re-upload, remix or sell the files or printed copies. Designed by Ribozom 🎄 Printed one? Share a photo in the comments, I'd love to see Santa on your shelf!
