Baroque Skull – Ornate Gothic Halloween Decor

Deep sweeping scrollwork wrapped around a skull, with detail running across the forehead, temples and jaw. The metallic filament makes this one look fucking stunning.   I printed mine in metallic filament, and it really brings out the design. The raised curves catch the light while the recessed areas give it that strong contrast. Turn it slightly and different parts of the pattern stand out—it’s a piece that deserves to be seen from more than just the front. It makes a striking Halloween decoration, but the ornate baroque style works just as well as a permanent piece on a shelf, desk or sideboard. Especially if you like your home decor a little darker.   Print details Printed on my Bambu X2D. 0.20 mm main layer height. Variable layer height only at the top, for a cleaner finish around the crown. Support top Z distance set to 0.22 mm in the profile for easier removal. Those settings are already included in the profile. Remove the supports carefully around the scrollwork to preserve the finer details. Metallic filament is a great fit for this one, the sculpted pattern does the rest.
