Spring Maker Tool – Turn PLA leftovers into Ø20 mm springs This simple hand tool lets you wind leftover PLA filament into useful, cool-looking springs with a consistent outer diameter of 20 mm. Screw the nuts almost all the way on the screw.  Insert the filament into the nut. Attach the filament to the screw. Start twisting the nuts to create the spring. Heat up the spring to have it remain its shape. Unscrew the spring from the screw. Great for functional prints, prototypes, or just satisfying little mechanical projects!
