Customizable coin cell battery organizer

Keep your coin cell and button cell batteries sorted in customizable cards with sliding covers. Pick from the common CR, LR and SR battery types, or customize a card's dimensions and label for another size. Each card body is 76×52 mm and holds 4-24 batteries, depending on the preset.   Print just the cards you need, then choose how to store them: a 2×1 Gridfinity bin or a standalone box with a lid. Cards come in three standard sizes, S, M and L. Different battery types in the same size use the same covers and box slots. You can customize the standalone box to fit your mix of cards, or pick one of six ready-made Gridfinity layouts.   Key features Predefined cards for CR lithium cells, LR alkaline button cells and SR silver-oxide watch batteries. Set your own battery diameter and thickness for an unlisted size or to fine-tune the fit. The number and spacing of battery holes adjust automatically. Smaller batteries get more holes in the same card footprint. Slide the cover open and push a cell out from the back. No digging into small slots. Standard S, M and L card sizes let you reuse covers and box slots across different battery types. Choose the S, M and L slots for your standalone box. The box and its lid resize to match. Six ready-made bin layouts fit a 2×1 Gridfinity footprint. These bins are not customizable yet. Use the battery name on the cover or add your own text. Longer labels shrink to fit. Single-color profiles have engraved card labels. AMS profiles add contrasting labels and colored box or bin rims. Coin cell batteries are a swallowing hazard. The sliding covers and box lids are not child-resistant, so keep batteries out of children's reach. Print notes The included profiles use PLA, 0.2 mm layers, 15% infill and require no supports. Print the cards for the batteries you use, then choose a box with matching S, M and L slots. Cards and boxes have separate profiles, so printing a box won't print its cards. Test one card, its cover and the box fit before making a full set. If you use the parametric customizer, slice the result with the settings for your printer.   Customization instructions Cards Pick Battery type. The list includes CR, LR and SR cells, with common names such as AG, A76 and watch-battery numbers shown alongside them. Turn on Custom size to set Battery diameter and Battery thickness yourself. The controls allow diameters of 5–34 mm and thicknesses of 1–5.4 mm. Try one card before printing a full set. Use Custom lid text for your own label. Leave it blank to use the preset battery name. If Custom size is on, enter a label yourself or leave it blank for an unlabeled cover. Turn on Multicolor lid label for contrasting AMS text, or turn it off for an engraved single-color label. The holes and their spacing adjust to the battery diameter. Battery thickness sets the card size: S up to 2.1 mm, M above 2.1 mm through 3.2 mm, and L above 3.2 mm through 5.4 mm. The card bodies are 2.6, 3.7 and 5.9 mm thick, not including the cover. For an unlisted battery, look up or measure its real dimensions. Adding about 0.05–0.1 mm to the diameter is a useful starting point for a tight fit; add more if your printer makes holes small. The model already adds 0.1 mm to diameters below 12 mm, so keep that in mind. Test the fit first. Changing Battery thickness past a size boundary also changes the cover and box slot you'll need. Standalone boxes Set Slot 1 through Slot 10 to Small (S), Medium (M) or Large (L) to match your cards. Choose No slot to remove an optional slot; the first two slots stay populated. The box and lid resize together. Multicolor adds a contrasting lid rim. View lets you preview the box and lid apart, show either part on its own, or see the print layout. For Gridfinity, choose one of the six ready-made layouts. Gridfinity customization isn't included yet. Leave a comment with battery dimensions or a box layout you'd find useful, and I can consider adding it as a preset. Predefined battery types S, M and L are card sizes. The capacity is how many cells one card holds.
