Descripción

Overview Saint Carlo Acutis has made it onto the shelf, which seems appropriate for a saint who probably would have appreciated having a 3D printer nearby. This 55 mm tall shelf-sitting figure features Saint Carlo Acutis in his familiar casual clothing, giving him a distinctly modern look compared with many traditional saint figures. His seated pose is designed so his legs hang naturally over the edge of a shelf, desk, mantel, or display ledge. Part of my Saints on the Shelf Collection, Carlo is a great addition for anyone looking for a modern Catholic figure to display alongside the more traditional saints. History of Saint Carlo Acutis Saint Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian Catholic teenager known for his strong devotion to the Eucharist and his interest in computers and technology. He used his computer skills to create a website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world, combining his faith with technology in a way that has made his story especially relatable to younger generations. Carlo was canonized on September 7, 2025, becoming the Catholic Church's first millennial saint. His feast day is celebrated on October 12. Size & Placement Approximately 55 mm tall Designed to sit on the edge of a shelf or ledge Legs hang naturally below the sitting surface Great for bookshelves, desks, classrooms, offices, and religious displays Designed to display alongside the other Saints on the Shelf Make sure the shelf or ledge provides enough depth for the figure to sit securely. Supports & Removal Notes This model contains several small details that need some patience during cleanup. Take extra care around the hands, fingers, hair, shoes, and clothing details Remove supports slowly rather than pulling large sections away at once A 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended for capturing the best fine details at this size A properly tuned 0.4 mm nozzle can also produce a good result Support removal isn't a speedrun. Carlo might appreciate the computer reference, but probably not losing a hand to the flush cutters. Important Notes This model is intended as a decorative display piece, not a toy. Because Carlo is designed to sit on an edge, make sure the figure is stable before placing it on a high shelf or somewhere it could easily be bumped. Avoid excessive downscaling, as smaller details will become increasingly fragile and difficult to print. Usage & Licensing Disclaimer All of my models are free to print for personal use. If you plan to sell physical prints or otherwise make a profit from the model, a commercial license is required and available separately.
