Haunted Skull – Rising Ghosts

A skull slowly melting into three rising ghosts, with everything flowing together into one sculpture. I love how the curves pull your eye from the teeth and eye socket up through the little spirits. The open space between them gives the whole piece a lighter, almost floating appearance.   This one was printed entirely in Silk+. The shine really suits the design: light catches the raised ridges and sweeping curves, while the deeper areas stay in shadow. There’s a lot going on without needing any extra colours, and the finish makes those flowing contours stand out beautifully.,   Made for a Halloween shelf, mantelpiece or desk display, but it would also fit nicely into a gothic setup all year round. A little eerie, a little playful, and one of those pieces that looks different as the light moves across it.
