With spread wings, a curled tail, and a seated pose, he brings a festive twist to your desk or shelf. The pumpkin is hollow, with open eyes, nose, and mouth—add a battery-powered LED tea light inside for a warm Halloween glow. Engineering, Printing & Assembly (Multi-Part) This model is available exclusively as a multi-part project, with colors separated for individual printing and assembly. Scale & sizing: Designed at a default assembled height of 200 mm, including the hat. It can be scaled, but check joint tolerances and the pumpkin’s internal clearance when resizing. No AMS required: Print the components separately using Dark Gray or Black, Purple, Orange, and Green filament. No multi-color purge waste: Separate color prints avoid repeated filament swaps and the associated purge towers. Surface quality: A 0.12–0.16 mm layer height is a good starting point for detailed surfaces such as the face, hat, and pumpkin. Supports: Some components may require targeted supports depending on their orientation and your printer settings. Review the slicer preview before printing. Test-fit all parts before applying glue. Once everything aligns, use small amounts of CA glue on the joints. Keep the pumpkin’s lighting access clear so the LED tea light remains removable. Display & Lighting The dark body, purple hat, green eyes, and orange pumpkin give Toothless a classic Halloween palette while preserving his recognizable charm. Display him with the pumpkin unlit or place an LED tea light inside to illuminate the carved face. Use battery-powered LED tea lights only, and check their dimensions against the pumpkin’s interior—especially if you resize the model. Quick Tips Calibrate flow: Consistent extrusion helps the assembly joints fit cleanly. Dry-fit first: Check alignment before gluing. Scale together: Apply the same scale factor to every component. Check candle clearance: Allow room to insert and remove the LED tea light. Avoid heat: Keep the finished print away from hot surfaces and real candles.
