Overview Saint Joseph finally gets to put the tools down and take a seat. Considering everything he had on his plate, he probably earned it. This 55 mm tall shelf-sitting figure features Saint Joseph in a peaceful seated pose, designed so his legs hang naturally over the edge of a shelf, desk, mantel, or display ledge. Part of my Saints on the Shelf Collection, this model gives Saint Joseph a compact and friendly display style while keeping his traditional, recognizable appearance. History of Saint Joseph Saint Joseph was the husband of the Virgin Mary and the earthly father and guardian of Jesus Christ. The Gospels describe Joseph as a righteous man and identify him as a craftsman. Catholic tradition especially honors him for his faith, humility, devotion to his family, and willingness to follow God's direction. He is the patron saint of workers, fathers, families, and the Universal Church. His primary feast day is celebrated on March 19, with Saint Joseph the Worker celebrated on May 1. Supports & Removal Notes This model contains smaller details that need a little patience during cleanup. Take extra care around the hands, face, hair, clothing, and any thin accessories Remove supports slowly rather than pulling large sections away at once A 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended for the best fine detail at this size A properly tuned 0.4 mm nozzle can also produce a good result Joseph was a craftsman, so he'd probably notice if you snapped a piece off rushing the support removal. Important Notes This model is intended as a decorative display piece, not a toy. Because Saint Joseph is designed to sit on an edge, make sure the figure is stable before placing it on a high shelf or somewhere it could easily be bumped.
