Descripción
The grenade many have requested is finally here, the German DM-51 Frag Grenade. This model is actually 2 grenades in one, just like the real thing. There's an internal offensive grenade (non frag) and an optional defensive grenade cover that makes it into a frag grenade. Background: The DM51 is a versatile offensive and defensive hand grenade used by the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Its unique modular design features a removable fragmentation sleeve, allowing soldiers to easily switch it from a defensive blast weapon into an offensive shock grenade. Spring options (for flying handle) Metal Spring (recommended) – if you have a metal spring, even a pen spring will usually work, then print the metal spring profile. It is designed to work with the Bambu Store's 0.5x7x12mm spring (linked lower on the page). If you use a pen spring, you can usually cut it in half and get two springs. Plastic Spring – if you don't have a metal spring, but still want the handle to fly off, then print the plastic spring profile. If the spring eventually wears out, just print a new one and pop it in. Don't leave the spring under tension when not using it as it will wear out much faster. Avoid Matte and Silk filament for the spring itself, Basic and Metal work better. No Flying Handle - if you don't want the handle to fly off and just want a grenade model, simply print either version and don't put in a spring. Bambu filaments used Matte Dark Green Matte Yellow Metal Iron Gray Black Silk+ Silver Metal Iridium Gold Metal Spring Version Assembly 1. Flip the silver top upside down and insert the peg. Make sure the peg is sticking out of the top, if not rotate 90 degrees. 2. Insert your spring into the silver top next, just like you did with the peg. 3. Next, screw the top onto the grenade like you see below. Its best to do this upside down or sideways. 4. Then, insert the grenade into the frag sleave and then use the screw on the bottom to lock it into place. Note: this grenade includes a cover that is placed over top of the regular spoon handle like you see below: Plastic Spring Version Assembly 1. Flip the silver top upside down and insert the spring.
