DOSA KLICK | Snap-Lid Pouch Can with Custom Text

Snaps shut like the real can, and it can carry your name. DOSA KLICK is a round snus / nicotine-pouch can in the classic ZYN-style size (Ø 69.7 × 23.5 mm) with a continuous snap lid that clicks closed and still opens with one hand. Put your own name on it, ZYN-style: type it in Bambu Studio. Fresh pouches go in the can, used ones in the little cap on top. Every piece of text is a live Bambu Studio text part, so you change it in the slicer. No CAD, no font to install. Open the Custom Text profile in Bambu Studio (Open in Bambu Studio, or download the 3MF). In the object list, find "✏ YOUR TEXT – double-click to edit" under the small cap. Right-click it and choose Edit Text. Type your word. If it runs past the edge of the cap, lower Size until it fits. The top line ("MINT") and the pill word ("KLICK") edit the same way. Then slice and print. How long can the word be? The font is Arial Black (already on Windows and macOS). 3 to 5 letters stay big and bold. 6 to 7 letters work at a smaller size. 8 or more get too small to read well on a 63 mm cap. Strength dots: five dots, three filled by default. 2 filaments: set a "Dot N centre" part's filament to 2 for a full dot or 1 for an empty ring 1 filament: right-click a "Dot N centre" part › Change type: Negative volume = full dot, Modifier = empty ring No dots, no pill or no top line: just delete those parts 1 or 2 filaments? With 1 filament the text is debossed 0.4 mm into the cap. Times are Bambu Studio estimates for a P1S, start routine included. 🤔 Why a snap lid instead of a screw or twist? The pouch cans you buy don't screw, they click, and that's the feel DOSA KLICK is built around. There's no thread to line up and nothing to turn: press the lid down and it snaps home with one continuous ring all the way round, so there are no small catches to break off either. It takes a bit of force to open, which is exactly what keeps it shut, and a thumb lift does it in one motion. 🖨️ Print settings (already in every 3MF) Bambu Lab X1 / P1 series, 0.4 mm nozzle, Textured PEI plate 0.20 mm first layer, then 0.10 mm layers, 3 walls, 100 % infill: the recipe the closure was proven with 100 % scale, no supports The main lid prints with a 6 mm brim. Let it cool, then peel it off. Don't scrape the fitting edges The small cap prints face-down, so the text comes out crisp on the smooth plate side PLA on a 55 °C bed: leave the door open or the top glass off, as usual 🧵 Filament PLA. The closure is proven in Bambu PLA Wood (Rosewood). Regular and Custom Text are set up for PLA Basic Wood PLA gives the nicest look on the wood pattern PETG, ABS and other materials change the snap and are untested Custom Text · 2 filaments: filament 1 = Bambu PLA Basic (the can), filament 2 = Bambu PLA Basic (the text). Filament 2 starts as a near-black; pick any contrast colour in the AMS. Only about 0.92 g of filament 2 is used 👍 How to use Fill the body. Press the main lid down until it clicks. Klick! Pop the small cap on top of the lid; it holds your used pouches. To open: thumb under the rim and lift, or squeeze the lower body and let the lid pop. Lagom force is plenty; never lever the thin lid skirt with a knife. 🌲 Care Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. PLA softens around 55 °C, so no dishwasher and no car dashboard in July. 📝 Honest notes The snap closure is proven on a Bambu P1S in PLA Wood Rosewood: the click, the one-hand opening and the brim removal. All four versions keep the identical closure surfaces, checked in CAD and in the slicer. The editable text was checked in Bambu Studio 2.7 on macOS: Edit Text opens with Arial Black at the stored size, and a new word keeps the same font and orientation. It's a pocket can, not a humidor: the moisture seal is not lab-tested. 🇸🇪 Why "DOSA KLICK"? In Swedish a dosa is a small round can (a snusdosa is where snus lives), and in English it's the dose inside. Klick is the sound it makes.
