Ribbed Storage Box – Print Only or Hybrid Design

Printed with AzureFilm filaments: PLA Matte HS Rosy, Off- White, Sage and Mint Ribbed Storage Box – Print Only or Hybrid Design A simple and elegant storage box with a removable lid, designed around soft curves, clean proportions and a subtle vertical ribbed pattern. The rounded body and gently curved bottom give the box a smooth and refined appearance, while the fine ribs add texture and make the minimal design more distinctive. It works well as a small organizer for everyday items, accessories, desk supplies or anything else you want to keep neatly stored. Print It or Mix Materials The special part of this design is that you can choose how you want to make it. The box can be made as a fully 3D-printed version, or you can combine 3D printing with laser-cut inserts for the lid. This makes it easy to experiment with different materials, colors and textures. I’ve been experimenting with the new Bambu Lab R1, and this project was a great opportunity to explore the combination of 3D printing and laser cutting. Adding materials like cork, plywood or clear/colored acrylic to the printed body gives the box a much more refined and professional feel and takes a relatively simple 3D print to another level.
