Gator — Cute Articulated Crocodile

Big eyes, little teeth, and a smile that makes him look much less dangerous than a crocodile should. Meet my Gator! 🙂 This little guy has made it from the screen to the print bed. The photos show the actual printed model, and the short video shows how he moves in my hand. I used FlexySliceSTL to create the articulation, paint the colours and add those big eyes. It is the software I’m developing alongside models like this one, so every finished print gives me something new to learn from. I went with mint green, a brown belly and back spikes, and those big black-and-white eyes. I’d love to see what colours you choose for yours — share a photo in Makes if you print him! 🐊 Printing notes • The included Gator4.3mf contains the coloured model and a Bambu Studio print profile. • Saved profile: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 2 walls and 15% infill, with supports switched off. • Let the print cool before removing it, then gently free the joints for the first movement.
