Thermoformed Baseball Create your own thermoformed baseball using 3D printing and a simple forming process. This project combines 3D printing, PLA thermoforming and a baseball-inspired design. The printed forming mold is used to shape heated PLA into the final baseball form. Boost Me⚾ What is included 3D printable baseball forming mold Parts designed for thermoforming Simple thermoforming process Great project for experimenting with 3D printed forms Good to know: The same forming mold can also be used with another model available in my 3D files, allowing you to create both designs using the same mold.   Thermoforming Instructions Place the printed part into the thermoforming mold. Heat the material evenly with a hair dryer until it becomes soft and flexible. Press the softened part firmly into the mold so it takes its shape. Hold it in place until the material cools and hardens. Remove the formed solid from the mold and fill it with your favorite Halloween candy. 🎃🍬   Material Selection Formed part: PLA — this is the part that is heated and shaped. Thermoforming mold: PET — recommended because it has better temperature resistance and should not deform during the heating process. ⚠️ Important: Do not use PLA for the mold, as it may soften and deform when heated with a hair dryer.   Boost Me
