Autumn Chipmunk Sensory Playset | Optional Tray

Bring a little autumn magic to your sensory play setup with this adorable 3D printable Pumpkin Playset! Featuring a cozy pumpkin house, two curious chipmunks, colorful fall trees, leaves, and acorns, this set is perfect for creating your own miniature woodland scene.   I designed these pieces to be enjoyed on their own for tabletop play with kinetic sand or incorporated into larger, commercially available sensory bins.   An optional Fall Tray is also included for anyone who wants a coordinating, all-in-one setup! What's Included Pumpkin house: Requires supports. Two adorable chipmunks Two autumn trees (slightly different sizes) Fall leaves in two sizes Acorns: Require supports. Optional - Second Print Profile Fall Tray (Second Print Profile)    The trees feature a open-back design and print face down. Each has an extended base at the bottom, allowing it to be anchored into sensory materials while keeping the tree trunk visible above the surface.  IMPORTANT: Download the 3MF Files! Only 3MF files have been uploaded. No STL files are included.   I HIGHLY recommend selecting only 3MF when downloading this model. Otherwise, you may find yourself spending hours repainting those little chipmunks. Ask me how I know. LOL!   I've also created separate processing presets within Bambu Studio for the different components. Please be sure to switch to the correct preset between prints for the best results.   The included presets were tested on my Bambu Lab A1. Feel free to adjust them for your own printer and preferences, as every printer is different. Printing & Scaling Recommendations Pumpkin House The pumpkin measures just under 4 inches at its widest point and prints with tree supports. I've successfully tested it down to 65% scale, and it should scale up nicely as well if you wanted to use a larger version for something else.   Autumn Trees The trees are intentionally large and come in two slightly different sizes. They print face down with the backs open. I've tested scaling them down to 80% but haven't tested anything smaller. I recommend maintaining the original Z height when resizing so they retain their intended thickness.   Chipmunks These little guys stand just over 1 inch tall. I haven't tested them at smaller sizes, so I recommend keeping them at their original scale.   Leaves & Acorns Two different leaf sizes are included. I do not recommend scaling down the leaves or acorns, as they are already quite small - acorns print with minimal supports. Optional Fall Sensory Tray The coordinating Fall Tray is an optional addition to this playset and has its own print profile. It measures approximately: 9.68" long (24.59 cm) 8.01" wide (20.35 cm) 1.52" high (3.85 cm) The tray was designed specifically for sensory play, so the sides are intentionally taller to help contain kinetic sand and other sensory materials. It features rounded, gently curved edges and an embossed oak leaf design along the front. The embossed leaves print without supports.    Tray Printing Notes: Please make sure your build plate is ABSOLUTELY clean before printing! I added painted brim ears to help with adhesion and increased my build plate temperature to 68°C when printing on my A1. Even with those adjustments, all four corners curled upward slightly during my print, though it did stay in place. I have not tested this tray on an enclosed printer, so your results may vary.   The tray can be resized, including reducing the Z height by approximately ½ inch if you prefer shallower sides.   Important when resizing: The pumpkin and trees are designed to be proportional to the tray. If you resize the tray to 90%, resize the pumpkin and trees to 90% as well to maintain the intended proportions.   The leaves, acorns, and chipmunks do not need to be scaled down with the tray. A Few Final Notes Please review the included print profiles and photos before printing. I've spent quite a bit of time testing and adjusting these settings on my A1, but you may need to make changes depending on your printer, filament, and build plate.   This playset contains small pieces and is not suitable for young children. Adult supervision is recommended during sensory play. I hope you enjoy printing this little autumn woodland scene as much as I enjoyed creating it!
