Open CargoGrid

Open source CargoGrid project that lets you generate and flexibly print modular cargo mat tiles and accessories. Super useful for organising things in the boot of your car or UTE tray, and stopping things from sliding around!   The base mat tiles come with X-shaped accessory connectors holes and round hole accessory connector holes.   Generated from my open source CargoGrid project over at github.com/yxbh/CargoGrid. Built using python + build123d with configurable tile unit size and optional accessory attachment round holes.   For this maker world project, I chose the default 60 mm units, 13 mm-thick tiles configuration with the optional 10mm accessory holes. This makes this project's tiles and attachments compatible with Tora.'s “Trunk organizer mat” project on makerworld.   This project is NOT compatible with TMAT! The project comes with 100+ accessories including: Base tiles in various configurations up to 5x5 (1x2, 2x1, 2x2, etc) Edge tiles in 10mm, 20mm and 30mm widths in male/female connector configurations Corner tiles in the same widths above Edge ramp tiles in 1x1 to 1x5 configurations in both male/female variations Organiser rods that fit in the 10mm round accessory holes with 60mm and 120mm upper braces Support tiles to place underneath your base tiles if your vehicle has an uneven tray or cargo surface (inspired by Taro.'s project) Vertical stop blocks in various sizes and heights including variations that allow vertical attachment of tiles to build your own structures 😍 During development, I test printed with the following configs and they came out great: Bambu Lab PETG HF or Bambu Lab PETG Basic in both 0.8 and 0.4 nozzle sizes Bambu Lab PLA for support interface Balanced Strength profiles Slicing gap closing radius: 0.01mm Resolution: 0.003mm Arc fitting disabled by Bambu Studio Both normal (auto) and tree (auto) supports worked For long term durability you may wish to print with a stronger filament depending on your local climate and driving conditions. Make sure to adjust wall count and infill (type and %) to suit your use case.
