This 55 mm tall shelf-sitting figure features Saint Padre Pio in his traditional Capuchin Franciscan habit, with his legs hanging naturally over the edge of a shelf, desk, mantel, or display ledge. History of Saint Padre Pio Saint Padre Pio (1887–1968) was an Italian Capuchin Franciscan friar and priest known for his deep devotion to prayer, spiritual guidance, and the stigmata, wounds resembling those of Jesus Christ. He spent much of his life hearing confessions, celebrating Mass, and offering spiritual guidance to people from around the world. Canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2002, Padre Pio is remembered for his humility, compassion, and dedication to helping others. His feast day is celebrated on September 23. Supports & Removal Notes Padre Pio's beard, hands, and traditional Franciscan habit contain smaller details that require extra attention during support removal. Be especially careful around the beard, hands, sleeves, and any thin clothing details. Remove supports slowly to avoid damaging delicate features. A 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended for capturing finer details at this size. A properly tuned 0.4 mm nozzle can also produce a good print. Padre Pio was known for his patience. You'll want a little of that when removing supports around his beard! Important Notes This model is intended as a decorative display piece, not a toy. Because Padre Pio is designed to sit on an edge, make sure he is stable before placing him on a high shelf or somewhere he could easily be knocked over.
