Parametric Vacuum Nozzle Creator Create a vacuum nozzle sized for your hose and the space you need to reach. Make a narrow crevice tool, a wide opening for larger areas, or a round or oval tip—all from one customizable model. What you can customize Connection: Choose a socket that slides over your vacuum tube or a spigot that slides inside it. Fit: Set the tube diameter, clearance, connector length, and wall thickness. Opening: Choose round, oval, rectangular, or rounded rectangular. Reach: Adjust the transition and straight nozzle lengths. Alignment: Move the outlet off-centre and rotate its opening. Tip angle: Keep the end straight or add an angled cut. Surface quality: Choose Low, Middle, High, or Very high for your preferred balance of smoothness, rendering time, and file size. Check the fit before printing Select Fit ring to generate a short connector sample. Print it, check it against your vacuum tube, and adjust the clearance if needed. Once the fit is right, switch back to Nozzle to generate the complete part. For a socket, measure your tube’s outside diameter. For a spigot, measure its inside diameter. Increase the clearance if the fit is too tight; decrease it if it is too loose. Dimensions and printing All dimensions are in millimetres. Opening width and height describe the inside air passage; the walls add to the outside size. For a round opening, width sets the diameter. The model is positioned with the connector on the build plate. Check your slicer preview before printing: very wide openings, large sideways offsets, and short transitions can create overhangs that need support. A longer transition makes the change between the connector and outlet more gradual. High quality is a good starting point for final exports. Very high adds finer curve detail, with longer rendering times and larger files. These settings control the model’s geometry, not your printer’s layer height. Fit and printing requirements vary with your vacuum connection, material, printer, and chosen settings.
