SCX30 Flatbed (New 4-door Tacoma)

The bed on the new Axial Adventures SCX30 Tacoma was too long for my liking so I made this flatbed option for those that want a better departure angle and a unique look. The one on the truck in the pictures is printed in PETG-CF using a 0.4 hardened nozzle, and the one on the build plate with the supports still under it is in PETG Basic using the same 0.4 hardened nozzle.   For mounting I left the file without the hole so that you have the choice of using other methods, like double sided tape or an adhesive that is more permanent. For mine just drilled two 1/8" holes that lined up with the two holes in the cab and used some small m2 hardware to attach it. With that and the rear mounting tab it is pretty secure. And for the rear mounting tab, if you want to keep the taillight in there, even though you wont see it, you might need to notch the end of the tab. I just used some small scissors and made a little half circle to clear it incase I want to run the regular bed again later.    Hope you enjoy and feel free to share comments!   Cheers,   Baloos RC
