This 55 mm tall shelf-sitting figure features the Virgin Mary in a peaceful, seated pose, with her legs hanging naturally over the edge of a shelf, desk, mantel, or display ledge. Part of my Saints on the Shelf Collection, this design brings a little faith and personality to your favorite display space. Whether displayed alone or alongside the other saints in the collection, Mary makes a lovely addition to any home, office, or religious display. History of the Virgin Mary The Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ and one of the most revered figures in Christianity. Known for her humility, compassion, and unwavering faith, she holds a special place in Catholic tradition. Mary is commonly depicted wearing a flowing robe and veil, often in blue and white, symbolizing purity, devotion, and her role as the Mother of God. Supports & Removal Notes Mary's flowing clothing and smaller details require a little extra attention during support removal. Be especially careful around the hands, face, veil, and any thin clothing details. Remove supports slowly to avoid breaking delicate features. A 0.2 mm nozzle is recommended for capturing finer details at this size. A properly tuned 0.4 mm nozzle can also produce a good print. Patience is a virtue, especially when removing supports from a tiny Virgin Mary. Important Notes This model is intended as a decorative display piece, not a toy. Because Mary is designed to sit on an edge, make sure she is stable before placing her on a high shelf or somewhere she could easily be knocked over.
