The exposed bulb becomes the anglerfish’s glowing lure, hanging just beyond its open jaws and turning a functional light source into part of the sculpture itself. Its dark body, fan-shaped fins, sharp contrasting teeth, golden eyes, and curved lure create a dramatic silhouette even when the lamp is switched off.
