Phase 1 Clone Trooper – Fully Articulated Brick-Compatible Figure Deploy the Grand Army of the Republic to your collection! This is a custom, 100% 3D-printed Phase 1 clone trooper block figure featuring full articulation across standard joints so you can pose your troopers in action stances, marching formations, or battle scenes. 🛠️ Features & Design Optimized FDM Geometry: The initial structural base files were sourced from BrickLink Studio, then modified and redesigned to ensure reliable printing, strength, and clutch power on FDM 3D printers.   Custom Decals: Armor markings and details are made using custom-designed decals printed on a home InkJet printer. 🖨️ Printing & Assembly Tips Settings: The print settings are included on the .3mf files. They are what I found worked best for me when printing. The Smooth High Temp PEI Sheet works the best for accuracy and print quality. The textured PEI Sheet would work but it would leave the textured surface on your prints. I also really recommend using PETG as the first batch I made was with PLA. The PLA joints had about a 50%, about 32/66 of pieces failed upon assembly. After changing print settings and using PETG, only around 1/10 pieces failed. The PETG pieces also printed much cleaner, more accurately, and the joints feel smoother than the PLA prints. Some of the pieces did require post processing, the hip and arm joints needed to be reamed with an appropriately sized drill and drill bit. This step was not really necessary but did improve the articulation of the joints. If anyone has any suggestions on improving the fitment, articulation, and assembly I would love to hear it!   Decal Application: Print your decals onto compatible printable vinyl decal paper using an InkJet printer. Once printed, cut out and fit to the minifig. Which parts of the legs that fit with major-brand building block systems, heavily depends on the print orientation. The attached .3mf file is oriented to fit on major-brand building block systems while standing.
