Upside-Down Sleeping Bat Ornament

Add a mysterious little creature to your Christmas tree, window, shelf or hanging display. This upside-down bat rests with its wings wrapped closely around its body, creating a compact, cloak-like silhouette. Layered wing membranes, raised ribs, pointed ears and a partially visible face give the ornament plenty of detail while preserving its distinctive sleeping-bat pose. The integrated hanging loop can be used with your preferred cord, thread or ornament hook.     Important Print-Profile Note If you use my print profile, please be aware that I split the model into separate parts to make it easier to print cleanly. The printed sections will need to be glued together after printing. I tried printing the complete model with supports several times, but I could not remove the supports without damaging the detailed wings and other delicate areas. Splitting the model produced a more reliable result for me. The complete, unsplit STL is also attached for anyone who prefers to choose a different orientation, support strategy or printing method. Take care when removing any supports and when handling the thin wing edges, ears and hanging loop. Enjoy!
