Thor Magala. The previous version has been replaced with this more accurate and polished model with a unique pose. After receiving feedback about inaccuracies in the face/head, I revisited the model and put considerably more time into the rebuild. Please use this new model going forward. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A little about my process I get a lot of comments asking about my process, so here’s a look at how this model came together. Original Model vs Reference Image I used the official Capcom render as a reference in Blender, matching the silhouette and proportions before refining the details. Working from a single image involves some guesswork because depth, hidden surfaces, and features obscured by perspective aren’t fully visible. After reading the feedback, I rebuilt the head as a separate mesh, adjusted its scale and alignment, and attached it to the original body. Rey Dau is a new fan favorite, and I wanted to do him justice. Old Head → Updated Head Updated Head Joined to the Original Body: The updated head was more accurate, but it still didn’t sit naturally on the neck. After reworking that connection, I wasn’t happy with the overall proportions either, so I split the body into separate parts and resculpted much of it to create the finished model. This is a hobby, and my goal is to make models I enjoy and share them with others. I usually work on models after work, print them overnight, and paint them when I have time on the weekends. Sharing them on MakerWorld, seeing your finished prints, and chatting with you in DMs and on Discord are all part of the fun. I’m happy to revisit bigger mistakes, but I also have to balance that with the time I have rather than spend days chasing every detail. If you spot clear mistakes, such as missing features or noticeably incorrect anatomy, please leave constructive feedback explaining the issue. Specific comments help me catch things I’ve overlooked, and I’ll work through the bigger fixes as time allows. Smaller differences from the source material may remain, especially when they’re less noticeable on a finished, painted print.
