Scaling Instructions (Handle Limitation) Measure the Grip First: When scaling the model up or down, always measure the hilt/grip area first. Prevent Over-Thick Grips: If you scale the sword strictly uniformly, the handle may become too thick to hold comfortably. Independent Axis Adjustment: If the handle gets too bulky, you must unlock uniform scaling in your slicer:X and Y Axis: Decrease the percentage to keep the handle thin and accurate to human hand proportions. Z Axis: Stretch the Z-axis independently to maintain the epic length and height of the sword. 2. Variable Wall Loops (Dynamic Thickness) To prevent the sword from becoming top-heavy and to save filament while maintaining strength at the base, you should use variable wall/perimeter settings from the tip down to the pommel: The Blade Tip: Use 2 Wall Loops to keep the front end as light as possible. The Mid-Section: Gradually transition from 3 to 5 Wall Loops. The Hilt & Handle: Use 7 to 8 Wall Loops at the lower handle/pommel area where maximum hand force and stress are applied. 3. Strength & Assembly (Force Transmission) Large Connectors Only: When printing the segmented parts, make sure to use large internal connectors/pins. This ensures excellent force transmission throughout the core, allowing the sword to be spun and swung safely without snapping at the joints.   🙋♂️ Need Help?
