Where the first set ran waves around a straight cylinder, these flare. Each shade tapers from a narrow neck into a wide, sculptural base, so the ridges spread and separate as they fall. The change in silhouette changes the light too. A cylinder throws light straight down. A flare pushes it outward and wider, which makes these better suited to sitting over a table or filling a corner. Seven shapes, all sharing one surface language. If you have already printed the adapter for the first Aeolian collection or for the fluted shades, it fits these too. Nothing extra needed. 🎨 Filament Recommendations Recommended: 👉 Bambu PLA Wood or Bambu PLA Matte Bone White The wave texture rewards a matte surface. Bone White keeps the ridges crisp and clean, while PLA Wood adds a warmer, more organic diffusion that suits the wind-carved look especially well. The wider flare means more surface catching light, so the filament choice shows even more here than on the cylinders. Print profiles included for 0.4 mm nozzle. 🔧 Assembly Tool-free, modular twist-lock system. You only need to print the adapter once per fixture. Secure the socket → insert your IKEA STRÅLA lamp holder into the printed Cylinder Socket Adapter, then lock it from the top using the original STRÅLA plastic retaining ring. Align the shade → line up the tabs at the base of the adapter with the locking ring built into the bottom of the shade. Twist to lock → turn clockwise until it clicks snugly into place. 🔗 Part of the Line Every shade I have released uses the same STRÅLA socket adapter, so the whole line is cross-compatible. Print the adapter once and swap between any shade across all four listings.
