T-72B 1989 MBT |1:35 Scale| Workable Tracks

I have to admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for the T-72 family.    For this version, I chose the T-72B (1989) because I really like the look of the Kontakt-5 ERA layout. It gives the tank a much heavier and more aggressive appearance compared with the earlier T-72 variants.   🔧 About the model The model is designed around the same philosophy as most of my recent 1:35 tanks:   Easy to print – Easy to assemble – FDM friendly – with some mechanical movement.   Assembly is kept relatively simple, although glue is recommended when joining the main hull sections so everything stays properly aligned. As usual, the model comes with workable tracks. I really enjoy adding functional tracks to these vehicles instead of making everything completely static. The turret can rotate 360°, allowing you to pose the tank in different directions. The main gun can elevate and depress, giving you a little more freedom when displaying the model. Some smaller parts have been simplified or reinforced slightly to make them more suitable for FDM printing, while still keeping the overall appearance of the T-72B.   ⚙️ Track Tip If the tracks feel a little tight after assembly, try moving them slowly by hand for a while to loosen the joints. Printing smaller groups of track links at a time can also help improve consistency, especially if you are using an A1 / A1 mini.    Hope you enjoy it!
