Surrounded by pumpkins, fallen maple leaves, a rustic fence, towering corn stalks, and his little crow companion, this scene packs everything I love about fall into one detailed display.   This is one of those builds where the assembly is part of the experience. With 50 individual printed pieces, you'll slowly watch an entire little harvest scene come to life. 🌾 50 Pieces — One Big Autumn Scene This model has been intentionally divided into 50 separate parts to make color customization possible without an AMS. That means: NO AMS IS REQUIRED AT ALL. Instead of relying on filament changes, the individual colors come from separately printed components. The scarecrow's overalls, shirt, hat, sunflower, hair, pumpkins, stems, leaves, corn, fence, hay bale, crow and other details can all be printed independently. It takes longer to print and assemble than a simple model—but that's exactly what makes the finished piece so satisfying. 🎨 Each Plate Is Labeled for You With 50 pieces, keeping track of everything could get confusing quickly, so I've tried to make the process much easier.   Each print plate has been labeled with the names of the pieces as well as my recommended color for that plate.   You can follow my color scheme to recreate the model shown in the photos, or completely change it and create your own version of Harvest Hollow.   Try traditional autumn colors, muted farmhouse tones, pastel fall colors, or whatever happens to be sitting in your filament collection.   There really isn't a wrong way to build your patch. 🔌 Plug, Fit & Glue Assembly Most of the components use plug-style connectors to help with positioning and alignment during assembly. Glue is recommended throughout the model to create a strong, permanent finished display.   My biggest recommendation: Dry fit everything before you glue it.   With a model this detailed, don't rush the assembly. Test the orientation of each component, make sure you're happy with its position, and then add a small amount of glue to secure it.   Some of the pieces are intentionally close together once assembled, so working through the scene in a logical order will make the process much easier. 🧩 Patience Is Part of This Build I'll say this one up front: This isn't a five-minute assembly. There are 50 pieces, and some areas of the scene have multiple components coming together in a relatively small space. Take your time. Put on some music, grab your favorite drink, spread the pieces out in front of you and enjoy building the scene. There's something incredibly satisfying about starting with plates full of seemingly unrelated parts and eventually having a complete scarecrow relaxing in his own little autumn world.   If you enjoy assembling multi-part models, this one is a blast. 🍂 Details Everywhere You Look I wanted this scene to feel like a tiny snapshot of fall rather than simply a scarecrow sitting on a base.   The finished display brings together the lounging scarecrow, hay bale, pumpkins of different sizes, rustic wooden fence, crow perched on the fence post, corn stalks and ears of corn, bucket of freshly picked pumpkins, sunflower on the scarecrow's hat, scattered autumn leaves and a textured ground and stone-style base.   Even the little details—like the rope around the hay bale, patches on the overalls, pumpkin stems and individual pieces of corn—help give the finished scene its personality.   And of course, the crow looks suspiciously comfortable considering he's sitting right beside a scarecrow. 🐦⬛ Apparently these two have reached an agreement. 🌻 Make Harvest Hollow Your Own One of my favorite things about separating models like this is seeing what everyone does with the colors. Maybe your scarecrow wears green overalls. Maybe the shirt is plaid-inspired orange. Maybe you use matte filaments for the pumpkins and wood filament for the fence. Maybe the corn stalks are traditional green or dried autumn brown. The included colors are recommendations—not rules. With no AMS required, this is also a great excuse to use some of those partial filament rolls you've been saving. 🍁 A Build Worth Taking Your Time With Harvest Hollow Hideaway isn't intended to be the quickest model in your print queue. It's intended to be one of those projects you enjoy creating. Print the plates. Organize the pieces. Dry fit everything. Slowly assemble the scene. Add the final leaves and little details... ...and suddenly that pile of 50 individual parts has become an entire autumn display. The scarecrow looks pretty pleased with himself. The pumpkins have been picked. The corn is ready. The crow has moved in.
