Fallout NCR Ranger Chest Plate

DISCLAIMER DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU CAN NOT PLASTIC WELD.  Doing this without a hot stapler or plastic welder will be difficult if possible at all.    Basic video on how I did my welding Plastic Welder Soldering Iron   Instructions This prints the armor plates as solid plastic and the joint sections in TPU. I used the Bambu carbon fiber effects plate on mine to make it look like carbon fiber peices.  I am an XL adult tee size and it fits me well.    The pecks and peice directly below them will have to be joined Start welding the peices together. The intended gap was 10mm and there are spacers that can be printed to help The side and top strap mounts need a total of 8 m3x14 screws.  The strap size is 1" max width. I printed these buckles because they're great  Finishing - I welding the plates together then filled the gap with baking soda and superglue lightly until it was built up. I sanded everything with 150 to 320 grit sand paper. I did a single coat of filler primer then pained it all solid black. I did a light coat of charcoal gray over the black. I used white for the stencils. I sealed it all up with matte clear coat.   Stencils - The numbers are set up to be editiable but you will need this font. Print them and use a hair dryer or heat gun over the area you want to apply to help it warp to the shape.
