Flower Threading Beads

A sweet and simple set of flower beads, designed for little hands to thread, sort, stack and play! These chunky flower-shaped beads have a hole through the centre, making them perfect for threading onto shoelaces, cord, string or pipecleaners. Print them in lots of bright colours to create a beautiful spring-themed fine motor activity. 🌼 How to Play Give children a collection of flower beads and a shoelace, cord or thick string and let them thread the flowers on one at a time. Children can: 🌸 Thread the flowers to make a long flower chain 🌈 Create repeating colour patterns 🎨 Sort the flowers into colour groups before threading 🔢 Count how many flowers they can add 🧩 Copy a colour sequence made by an adult 💐 Create their own colourful flower "necklace" or garland 🤏 Simply explore putting the cord through the hole and pulling it through   Threading is a lovely hands-on activity for developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Children need to hold the flower in one hand, guide the lace toward the opening, push it through and then use their other hand to pull it out the other side. This simple action encourages: • Hand-eye coordination • Bilateral coordination – using both hands together • Fine motor control • Finger strength and dexterity • Concentration and persistence • Colour recognition, sorting and pattern making   Print a whole garden of flowers in different colours and mix and match them for open-ended play.
