I personally went with the 3-color version to keep the print time shorter. If I were to change one thing in my own print, I would make the background of the eyes white instead of keeping it dark. I think it would make the eyes stand out a little more. 🖨️ Printing The model was designed with 3D printing and articulation in mind, using chunky parts and sturdy connections for a durable finished print. I recommend checking the slicer preview before starting the print, especially if you decide to customize the colors or create your own 4-color combination. 🛠️ Model Creation The original concept started with an AI-generated design, which was then converted into a 3D base using MakerWorld's Image-to-3D tool. I imported the mesh into Nomad Sculpt, where I worked extensively on the topology, proportions, articulation, and overall shape. The model went through multiple manual sculpting and cleanup passes to improve the details, joints, surface quality, and overall printability. The colored elements were also separated into individual bodies, making it possible to create different color configurations and easily upgrade the model to additional colors. All showcase photos are real printed models. 📝 Small Note I'm still learning and improving my modeling and printing workflow with every new Flexi Mini model. I always do my best to make the models as clean, detailed, and printable as possible, but sometimes a small imperfection can still sneak through. That's why I always recommend checking the real print photos. They give you the best idea of what the finished model actually looks like.
