Picatinny Sling Retainer (1-Piece & 2-Piece Versions) 2-Piece Quick-Release Model: Features a base section that stays mounted to the Picatinny rail and a detachable clip. The clip snaps off easily with a simple single-hand operation to quickly release or secure your sling. An elastic cord connects the two printed parts via integrated hooks so you never lose the clip. 1-Piece Wrap-Around Model: A single-piece mount fixed to the rail. You simply stretch the elastic cord around the handguard and loop it back onto the hooks on the opposite side of the same mount. Cord Requirements: Both models require an elastic shock cord (approx. 3 mm in thickness). The built-in hooks are sized for a ~3 mm cord—feel free to use standard shock cord or improvise (a hair tie works great in a pinch!). Print Recommendations: Material: Printed and tested in PETG-CF for maximum strength and a great surface finish. Standard PETG or PLA will work fine as well. Settings: 3–4 walls/perimeters and 20–30% infill recommended for durability. Build Plates Layout: Plate 1: Includes both parts for the 2-piece model. Plate 2: Fixed base mount (2-piece model only).
