Fantasy Dragon vs Gothic Medieval Warrior LED Lamp

When I saw the MakerWorld COB LED Strip Light Challenge drop, my first thought was: A new kind of light?! I immediately knew I had to participate and build something I couldn't achieve with standard, rigid bulbs. Because COB LED strips act almost like a soft, glowing noodle that bends effortlessly, inspiration struck: A dragon breathing fire down upon a medieval warrior who is defending himself with his shield, sword raised upward, ready to counterattack. It's the ultimate scene for my dark fantasy addiction and a fantastic new addition to my growing lamp collection! From Concept to Reality   My design concept was selected for the challenge, and MakerWorld generously provided a free light strip and all the filament needed to bring it to life. After plenty of trial and error, I engineered the model so you can seamlessly insert a dimmable power switch right into the rocky base. The rest of the electronics tuck neatly into the back of the dragon, secured with a clean snap-fit cover to hide everything out of sight. I routed a 30 cm COB light strip starting from the dragon's back, pulled it straight through his mouth, and coiled it inside the translucent fire shell. Giving the strip that extra length was key to capturing that intense, blazing heat right near the warrior's shield. Print Details & Specs No painting required! Minimal supports needed, utilizing very easy-to-remove tree supports.
